These terms are an agreement between you and the makers of Evermarch ("we", "us"). By creating an account or playing Evermarch, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't play.

1. Who can play

You must be 13 or older to create an account or play. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you, and they are responsible for any purchases. We remove accounts that we learn belong to someone under 13.

2. Your account

• One account per person. An account can hold up to 3 characters. Extra accounts can be banned.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• Your username is shown to other players. Don't pick one that is offensive or pretends to be someone else.

3. Playing fairly

Don't cheat, bot, use macros or automation outside the game's own features, exploit bugs, harass other players, post hateful or sexual content, spam, or trade game items or crowns for real money outside the game's own store. Report bugs you find instead of using them. We may mute, suspend or ban accounts that break these rules, and remove items or progress gained by breaking them.

4. Crowns and in-game items

Evermarch is free to play. You can buy crowns, an in-game currency, to spend on premium items and features. Crowns, coins and items are a licence to use content inside the game. They are not your property, have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money, and can't be transferred outside the game. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

5. An early game that changes

Evermarch is in alpha. We change, rebalance, add and remove content often. Before the game's later phases we may reset progress (levels, items and coins). We will say so in the game before a reset. The game may be unavailable at times, and we can't promise that saved progress will never be lost.

6. What you send us

Chat, names, bug reports and suggestions you send stay yours, but you give us permission to show, store and use them to run and improve the game. Suggestions may be used without payment or credit.

7. Our content

The game, its code, world, writing and original art belong to us or to the artists who licensed them to us (see the art credits in the game). You may share screenshots and videos of the game. You may not copy, sell or redistribute the game or its files.

8. Ending your account

You can stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your account (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If the game shuts down, crowns and items end with it.

9. No warranty and limits on liability

The game is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, or for loss of game progress, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will show the date at the top and tell players in the game about important changes. Playing after a change means you accept it.

To contact us, use the Feedback button in the game (choose "Report a bug" and say it is about your account or this policy). If you can't log in, use "Forgot your password?" on the log-in screen first.
